About Nicholas Lord
I live with my family in Sydney, Australia. I am Single, love life and have a new lease on life. My first part time work was in a Chartered Accounting firm in the city during Year 10 work experience. I then moved into bookkeeping as I was getting a little too expensive for the accountants I worked with and started a successful part time business with some good income. This was the first time I got a taste of what I could earn working as hard for myself as I did for someone else.
In 2001 my family decided start small takeaway shop businesses in the local shopping centre. This was a HUGE change in my life. I was 19 and running 2 small business in the subsequent4 years. It taught me alot about proper business management, recruiting, advertising and the ability to coach and lead by example. We became very busy and although the money was great the hours still were a bit too much. Working over 100 hours a week in amongst family. We then decided to sell as the shop leases were up and move into our own work. My Mum needed a break, HECK everyone needed a break! Mid 2006 I decided to start in a call centre environment in 2006, I was bored and I needed a job! or so I thought..
I was good at talking to people, I was a good leader, I could lead by example. My career flew upwards in the space of a year. Moving from top seller in credit cards for a large Australian Bank, within 3 months moving into a 2ic role. I was then placed into the “Dream Team”, an elite sales force that saved failing campaigns. I was constantly the top performer in the team and I liked it that way. This was a stage of my career where I was taught hardcore selling that the best marketers were using. I didn’t like doing it AT ALL. I was good at what I did, and I was earning a great pay cheque BUT I didn’t like doing it. I moved into a Team Leader role, this made me realise that I was passionate about helping others better their situation/themselves, better my time management skills, coach and mentor. When I felt I could learn anymore, I moved into a consultant role with a finance company in the city.
The views of Circular Quay were PHENOMENAL to say the least. In October 2007 I made the move and wanted MORE. The company offered what I needed for the time being and I quickly learned what I needed to stay ahead of the game. For the following year and a half I was miserable to say the least. I was an overachiever receiving no bonuses or financial incentives. My work went unappreciated.
Until recently I was working as a financial consultant. I have to tell you it sucked. Waking up every morning at the crack of dawn, going through the same routine (shower/clothes/breakfast) get driven to the train station. A 50 minute commute each way on the Sardine Express. Well peak trains anyway!
I couldn’t help but laugh every morning when I walked into the office. Something had gone wrong, something needed following up, more clients needing to be followed up, new training needed to be undertaken, sales calls needed to be made. It was a nightmare to say the least. On top of all this a manager who relied on me 1000% to get through HER day. There were only 2 of us in the team, which meant the work gets split in half.
New products were being launched, and with the recession, staff were being cut. All the while were are increasing our skills to take on even more work, so the company could save money.
I realised I don’t need other people telling me how much I earn.
The only person telling me HOW MUCH I SHOULD EARN IS ME !
I went from Entrepreneur to a PayCheque. That was the problem.
I now look at things differently, and I now see that there really is another alternative than just working for a boss I hate for the rest of my life. Receiving the same paycheque every week and although it came without fail, it wasn’t enough to support the lifestyle I knew I deserved.
Like a lot of people on the internet in search of “How To Make Money”, I also started online around mid 2004. Didn’t know what I was doing, thought I found a great work from home business/business opportunity and started promoting. I started telling my friends about it and placing ads that were costing me a fortune an reading all the company updates.
What Did I Learn and What I Am Doing Today ?
I shared something with others who caught the same vision.
I finally learned what the top earners were doing (and keeping secretively from the rest of the 98% of struggling networkers) and a whole new world opened up to me. Making money online is incredibly simple if you know how to do things right.
The funny thing was that it was simple, a lot of fun and very lucrative. It generates thousands per week on auto pilot. Becoming financially secure was a goal that I only dreamed about.
It felt like my lifelong dreams were bigger then my paycheque! Now I can spend the day how I want and not doing something I am paid to do by the hour!
My passion is to be able to change peoples lives throughout my new career. Attraction marketing has shown me HOW to get paid looking for prospects.
Do you maybe want to learn what I did, How I did it or What system I am using? Take the next step and get some free training, information and support every step of the way?
